Introduction

Objectives

Baptist Mid-Missions (Hong Kong) was founded by Pastor Richard Baucum, a missionary from the United States of America. The Missions’ aims, following that of Baptist Mid-Missions (USA), are to proclaim Jesus Christ in accordance with the Bible and to offer opportunities of worship and service for those who accepted the Gospel by faith.

Introduction

Our school was established in 1990 and has always adhered to the spirit of Christian love. We teach children to honor God and love others, build up the confidence, maintain an optimistic and proactive attitude, and fully develop the potential. We gradually foster in them a spirit of serving the community in the future.

School Motto

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

(Proverbs 22:6)

Vision and Mission

1. We follow the example of Jesus Christ in loving God and loving others.
Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these” (Mark 12:29-31). Love for God and for others is not only Jesus’ teaching, but also the example He left for us. Following in Jesus’ footsteps, we strive to love God, our parents, our children, and each other, willingly sacrificing ourselves for those we love. We care about the ability of school supervisors, principals, teachers, staff, parents, and children to embody the loving spirit of Jesus.

2. We guide the all-round development of children based on biblical truths.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (Timothy 3:16-17). We believe that the Bible guides us in holistic education, thus it serves as the framework for all aspects of children’s learning and development. The Bible guides our selection of textbooks, curriculum development, teaching methods, and assessment of effectiveness. We also examine various theories of child development in light of biblical truth, selecting appropriate elements to incorporate into our teaching.

3. We guide, nurture, and train children to become useful people in God’s eyes.
“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:21-24). Putting off the old self, renewing the mind, and putting on the new self are essential processes in raising children to become adults. Our aim in teaching is to establish a character in children that is virtuous, pure, and benevolent, like Jesus. In this way, regardless of their future profession, they can serve as instruments of the Lord Jesus and bring blessings to those they interact with.

The School is hygienic and the learning facilities are comprehensive. We provide safe and comfortable learning environment for the children.

We have multi-purpose room, counselling room and musical and physical activity room.
